The Floods

Ok so I know on the news you guys have seen some shocking photos of the flood waters, but let me tell you they are no where near where we are. We did flood for one day but that was it and I know these photos are a bit old ( it flooded on the 8th of June) but here are a couple that I did take.

I went to the shop before school to get some change for the kiddies sponsorship forms had to be back in and heaven forbid we take all the money in together no they all had to have it separate for the bloody prizes they could win? When I got to the shop the water was up but no where near in the photos and they were frantically trying to get everything up off the floor in case it came in. I said to them I will go drop the kids at school and come back and give them a hand. By the time I had dropped the kids off and I mean just stopping right up next to the gate and taking two at a time in with the umbrella then back in the car to the shop the water was already at least another 20 cms higher than it was!

I parked my car around the back because that was higher ground and went in to help out now all I had planned for that morning was come home and have a workout, I had my workout and then some lol. I was carrying cartons of beer from the front to the fridge near the back and boxes of wine bottles I was buggered but we did it and got everything up off the floor, taped the bottoms of the doors with gaffa tape and then hoped it didn't rise more.

It didn't come in but every four wheel drive that went through the water made a back wash come up and come close but none came in thank god. The ladies in the shop couldn't believe I had come back to help but as I said to them if they close down I have to go without bread and milk and I would have to pay extra for it ( they sell the cheapest bread and milk.)

At 9:30 the school rang and asked if I could come get the kids and lol I had to say no, I couldnt get my tarago out so they said ok well when you can. It wasnt till I heard some thunder and then saw a dog out in the rain that I thought OMG my dogs and when I saw an SES vehicle come by and they stopped and asked how we were I hitched a ride home and when the water went down, which was as soon as it stopped raining one of the owners of the shops bought my car home lol. The river came up but I didnt take a picture of that I took video and I wish I could work out how to put a video onto my blog to show you all. By the way the water near that sign is knee deep and that is the side of the road!!!!

My Sil

Eleven and a half years ago I was fortunate enough to have my brother marry this most fantastic lady, and finally we have a great photo of the two of us together. Sil is my best friend and someone I can talk to about anything and she always listens to my problems and helps me out with decisions I make. Without all her help before the wedding I think I may have gone mad. I miss her after her being here for a holiday and cant wait till we get together again. Thank you for being my Sil. xoxo

Our new toy

Well M has been on ebay again and look what he has purchased for us to play with!!!!!

The cover will not come off unless we are playing because as I said to M "The cat will sleep on it" and I will not be happy if I have to brush it every time we play. Can you see the pool cues on the wall and also the score board for snooker? I have to learn how to play snooker now lol. So look out sil and little brother we will be pool champions next time you come visit lol.

Very exciting though and it wasnt just a case of putting it there, we had to take out a pole that was there and M had to put a big steel pole up to support where the pole was. It makes the outside area look totally different now. I will have to take a better photo and post it at a later date......

My Sheepychic scarf

I have finally gotten around to putting a picture up of my beautiful Sheepychic scarf that I knitted for myself before I got married lol. I had to wait for my mum to get here and show me how to cast on and I didnt do any pearl just plain knit (baby steps).

I really enjoyed doing it though and I think I will need to get some more wool in future and knit some for my girls as they love mine and I have had to put it into a drawer so as to stop the munchkin from wearing it all the time lol.

It smells lovely and is sooo warm.

Thankyou so much sheepychic for your beautiful yarn http://www.sheepychic.blogspot.com please go visit her for some beautiful yarns.

The Honeymoon

What a fabulous honeymoon we had.

We stayed at Kings Cross and we saw only a few eye openers lol.

Lets see Day One:
We left home about 7:00 am and got to Newcastle and met M's Aunt and Uncle and they let us keep our car there for the next couple of days, and also dropped us off at the train station. I was very excited because the trains are two storey lol and I had never been on one. So once we got on and got about an hour down the track we both realised that we should have eaten before getting on the train or at least bought some food with us lol. It was a relaxing trip there and then we finally get into Sydney and go straight to the Motel and check out the room, to find that our room is on the 6th floor and our view was a tennis court and some buildings so me being me goes downstairs to the reception and ask if there is a chance we can get a room on the other side of the motel so our view would be better and they say ok and we change and then we have the spectacular view of the harbour, opera house, harbour bridge and the city skyline. K was happy lol. We decide then to go for a walk to check out a little around our temporary home for the next couple of days and walked into the city went to paddys market and got cold inside so bought ourselves jumpers and jacket and also hats lol and had a cuppa at Starbucks and walked past Hyde park then we walked back and had something to eat at the pub across from where we stayed and had to laugh because we ordered in the pub and the food came from the take away next door lol. Then we went back to the room had a rest, then went to Bondi Junction for an explore and decided to have dinner at the Bondi junction RSL and the food was fantastic and the vegies I could have eaten another plate load full of them lol. Then back to the room for some more quite time and some rest because as I said to M we have alot to see and he needs to save his energy to keep up lol. Did I happen to mention the weather was perfect?

Day Two: We got up and had breakfast at a nice little cafe in darlinghurst street which in case some of you don't know is the main street in Kings cross and for those of you that don't know me that well I wanted to eat there to take in everything that goes on early Saturday morning lol and alot goes on lol. Then we headed off to catch our transport for the next couple of days the Sydney City Sight seeing double decker bus (http://www.city-sightseeing.com/) which is open up the top and what a fabulous time we had on that it cost us $48 each for 48 hours get on and off as we please and they ran every twenty minutes its route was as in the picture we were staying near the coke sign so to give you an idea of how our trip was. We got off at The Opera House and looked around there and had some fun and also went to the rocks market and had a look around there. We ended up having dinner at circular quay and it was beautiful packed but still lovely and then we went to the casino "Star city" and had a look around and put some money into the pokies lol.

Day Three:Mothers day lol totally forgot until when we were having breakfast and this elderly woman( who knows what nationality she was we couldn't really understand her) said happy mothers day and I realised what day it was lol. So we rang our mums and spoke to the kiddies and again got asked by K "how many sleeps till you come home?" lol every night we spoke to the kids. We went to Centre point tower today and what a spectacular view it was I couldn't believe how pretty the whole city was. I don't have any photos of this but lots of movies. Then we went to the main mall Pitt street mall and had lunch in the food court and what choices we had lol M wanted to come back there for dinner and lunch the next day lol. We then caught a ferry across the harbour and went to check out Luna Park now let me tell you M and myself are not the ride type people but still wanted to have a look that's me in the mouth lol and it was very interesting but I couldn't see the whole big deal about the place but the ferry ride was lovely and we took the whole ride just to enjoy it lol.We had dinner in Kings cross at this restaurant that was interesting big meal but I wasn't too impressed with it.

Day three: We got up this morning and my feet were killing me from not wearing walking shoes lol should've packed my runners lol realise that now and M's legs were hurting him from not being used to walking so much. So we had brekkie in kings cross cant remember where lol and then caught our bus to go to Bondi beach and tour that area and we had a half an hour stop in Bondi or we could stay for two hours but as we discussed with each other our feet were killing us and we would have just sat on the grass at bondi and not been able to go look at the shops and stuff there so we got back on the bus and went back into the city lol. Had lunch and then rested so we could go out for dinner. We went out for dinner in the main eatery in Kings cross and the meal was beautiful and huge and the strangest thing was that my brother was in Sydney and we were having dinner and there was this group of four guys sort of behind us and I could have sworn it was my brother now for those of you that know me you know my brother and what he looks like who would've thought there could be two of them? I kept staring and looking and the guys caught me and I had to explain why I had been looking over all the time whilst on my honeymoon with my husband lol and they thought it was funny and let me take a photo, it was dark and I have tried to lighten the photo but you can still make him out and see that he does look like my brother from the side on view

Day Four:

We got up early today and went and had brekkie at Central train station we wanted to get home fairly early before the kids got home from school any way. We got on the train at 8:15 in the morning and headed home and the funny thing is M is always saying to me about how I talk to any schmo anywhere and when we got onto the train M made a friend well as M tells it the other guy made a friend and poor M just had to listen to him for two hours lmao I thought it was hilarious anyway. Well we got home alright and the kids were really excited to see us and it was a fantastic time with beautiful weather and fabulous company. I am so glad I married my husband and could not have had a better time if I tried.

Well its Official

Well..... What an absolutely fabulous day the weather was perfect, the kids behaved themselves and Dad didn't cry too much to make me cry.

We got organised on time and got to the church on time and then headed in and apparently when K got inside and the packed church saw here and all went "Aaaawwwww" she turned around on her heels and headed back out lol.

We got to the front of the church and my Dad handed me over to M and then we turned to the pastor and he says " I would like to thank you all for coming to K and Tony's wedding". Now at this stage I am looking around thinking hang on who the bloody hell is Tony???? LMAO the whole place just cracked up. He then got it right and apologised. The whole thing only lasted about 30 minutes if that and then we were married.

We then went back to our house to party and have some fun which we did, what a great night it was. I would really like to thank my Sil for all the things she did for me on the day and even beforehand she bought the bridal bouquets and I am so glad she was my bridesmaid. I love you Sil. I would also like to say a big thank you to my girlfriend Shazza for all the hard work she did in making me look beautiful and all the things she did and has done for me to make the day so memorable and enjoyable.

I was also lucky enough to have three of my friends that I went to high school with come to our wedding all the way from W.A, Melbourne and Adelaide. Thank you girls for a great few days together. I am sure the pub will always remember us lol.

My Gran was there too from Qld along with my Aunty and I would like to thank them for making the trip too.

I'll tell you all one thing though you know how much you are loved by your friends and by your peers when something like this happens in your life and they all support it, and you, and do whatever they can to help you enjoy the day.

Last but by far not the least is my Mum and Dad. God what to say I love you two both so much and I thank you both from the bottom of my heart for all the hard work and effort and things you have done for me in the last two weeks. I could not have done it without your help and I hope you both realise how much I appreciate everything.I love you.

Well I think that will do I have packed our bags and we head off to Sydney for our honeymoon in the morning we are both very excited. I haven't been to Sydney before so it should be great.

Look out for the honeymoon shots lol no naked I promise lol....................................

OMG What a surprise

Ok let me start at the beginning.

I went to take T to netball on Saturday morning and K had a birthday party to go to on the same day but three hours later than netball but instead of coming home we decided to stay in town and do some shopping and then go to the party.

Well my lovely Sil rang me a couple of times that morning about computer swap meets and other things that I honestly don't remember because just getting phone calls from her is great ( we could talk everyday and still find things to talk about).

Any hoo we get home after the party to find M home sitting in his shed but the boys nowhere to be seen he then tells me that they are out fishing in the boat. I'm like" Cool" then he says I'm not sure if they have life jackets on though. I was not happy so I go to the boat ramp looking for the boat, ( the rules of the boat is that when the boys are out in the boat on their own they stay where we can see them at all times and they wear life jackets) so here I am looking for them and of course I cant see them anywhere I whistle a couple of times( they normally hear me when I whistle). Ok by this time I am freaking out worrying about where they are picturing them treading water.

Did I happen to mention that my Mum and Dad were due to arrive anytime from Melbourne?

Well guess what they turn up while I'm at the boat ramp, so I head home with the girls and greet them and give them lots of kisses and tell them all about what has been going on since I returned home.

Then I hear my youngest boy C yelling out to his dad about his fishing and I start running down to the boat ramp to rip shreds from them and tell them that they are never to go out in the boat again on their own.

I get down there and I see this other guy there and Im thinking who is that? Why is there someone I don't know near my boys and their boat?? Mind you their Dad is there tieing the boat up, and then this bloke turns around and its my big little brother!!!!!!!!!!

I scream "OMG what are you doing here????" and of course for all of you out there that know him you could imagine his tone " I'm fishing what do you think?"

Any way the kids where off the hook because Uncle Mot was with them and they had an absolute ball. He was only here for two nights but the kids followed him around everywhere and our oldest D was hanging on his every word lol.

I am so glad he came for a visit and he left this morning and the boys are going to be lost today not having him here to follow around lol. K will miss him too she woke up this morning saying "Wheres Mot"?

I'm glad he will be back in only 10 days with the rest of the family.

Thanks Uncle Mot

Our Beautiful girls

I had to post some photos I took this afternoon. I have a fantastic friend in town here that makes beautiful bead necklaces and she made some to go with the girls dresses for the wedding. The photo does them no justice as you cant see them that clearly but they have little purple butterflys with silver in them and they are divine. I got them tiaras from ebay ( love ebay) for only $2 each lol. They are so excited and I have hung them up in their rooms now we only have 15 more days to go.

My "Interview me" Questions & Answers

Instructions:

1. Leave me a comment saying "Interview me."

2. I will respond by asking you five questions. I get to pick the questions.

3. You will update your weblog with the answers to the questions.

4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.

5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.Okay, here are your questions:

1. If you knew in advance you would be stranded on a desert island for six months and you could only take three things with you, what would they be and why?
You know this question is so hard to answer because I would like to say 6 months worth of alcohol but that would be more than three to begin with lol. I think my toothbrush, My Man, and sunscreen. ( My toothbrush because there is nothing worse than morning breathe, My man because six months with no children would just be bliss for both of us and sunscreen because we wouldn't want to come back as old pieces of leather lol.)

2. What is your all time top favourite book and why?
My all time favorite book would have to be "Misery" by Stephen King I thoroughly enjoyed this book the suspense and the story it was very believable I couldn't put it down. I remember I was a courier driver at the time and I used to read it stopped at the lights lol. Then they bought out the movie and I was so disappointed by it, it did the book no justice at all,

3. Do you still think you'll be blogging in ten years from now?
Most definitely

4. If you could change one thing (and only one) about the world we live in, what would it be and why?
Guns. I would make it that guns were never invented I know that guns don't kill people, people kill people but if they didn't have the guns then wouldn't that make it a lot harder???

5. Is there any one event that you think has shaped your life and if so, what was it?
Having children has shaped my life. I often think if I didn't have children what would I be doing??? You know its hard to even think what I would be doing. I think the relationships to get those children have also contributed I have learnt valuable lessons.

There we go folks, You know though Kylie I really struggled with the first one.
Now if anyone wants to try this out just ask me

Mid-life

I got this in an email and thought it was fantastic and had to share it. Unfortunately I can relate to a lot of it lol.

I've seen two shows lately that went on and on about how mid-life is a great time for women. Just last week Oprah had a whole show on how great menopause will be... Puhleeeeeeeze! I've had a few thoughts of my own and would like to share them with you. Whether you are pushing 40, 50, 60 (or maybe even just pushing your luck) you'll probably relate.Mid-life is when the growth of hair on our legs slows down. This gives us plenty of time to care for our newly acquired mustache. In mid-life women no longer have upper arms, we have wing spans. We are no longer women in sleeveless shirts, we are flying squirrels in drag.Mid-life is when you can stand naked in front of a mirror and you can see your rear without turning around.Mid-life is when you go for a mammogram and you realize that this is the only time someone will ask you to appear topless.

Life is when you want to grab every firm young lovely in a tube top and scream, "Listen honey, even the Roman empire fell and those will too."

Mid-life brings wisdom to know that life throws us curves and we're sitting on our biggest ones.Mid-life is when you look at your-know-it-all, beeper-wearing teenager and think: "For this I have stretch marks?"In mid-life your memory starts to go. In fact the only thing we can retain is water.Mid-life means that your Body By Jake now includes Legs By Rand McNally --more red and blue lines than an accurately scaled map of Wisconsin.

Mid-life means that you become more reflective...You start pondering the "big" questions. What is life? Why am I here? How much Healthy choice ice cream can I eat before it's no longer a healthy choice? But mid-life also brings with it an appreciation for what is important. We realize that breasts sag, hips expand and chins double, but our loved ones make the journey worthwhile. Would any of you trade the knowledge that you have now, for the body you had way back when? Maybe our bodies simply have to expand to hold all the wisdom and love we've acquired. That's my philosophy and I'm sticking to it!

Easter Time with the Brady Brunch

Well this is our first official Easter together and oh the joy of it all lol.
I went shopping today to get Easter eggs and I was walking through the centre with my trolley laden with Easter eggs lol. (I get the strangest looks from the people in the shopping centre)
Then had to leave the eggs with a friend in OPSM whilst I got the groceries from ALDI.
I must say though I picked the worst possible day to go shopping the shopping centre has just opened up a new section and its starting to look bigger and better almost like back in Melbourne for all my friends near my mum its nowhere near as your local centre but its almost to what that centre was originally lol.
I got myself a new pair of gold sleepers for only $19 from Micheal Hill jewellers and I had to laugh the lady says if they are for you, you should be looking at these earring s only $80 gold with diamonds, now as much as I would have liked them I said "No thanks I have 6 children and cant afford them at this time of the year and with a wedding to plan thanks but no thanks the sleepers will be enough lol"
It was fun though and new Gloria Jeans so can I get a decent cuppa now instead of Donut King lol.
Then I had to get back home because the kids had Easter Hat parade at school and that was fun to see and the effort some "children" ( I don't think a lot of kids actually made theirs) made is incredible some people have far too much time on their hands, maybe next year will be different for us because we wont be trying to save pennies for a wedding.
Oh well that's what been going on around here the wedding plans are going smoothly so here's hoping lol......................................

Updates

Ok I have updates seeing as my mum is not happy unless she has something new to read on my blog lol.(Love you mum) This is the colour of my dress and M's shirt. This is me in my dress ($39.95 off ebay brand new)and as you all can see I need to lose the muffin at the top of my stomach lol I am trying believe me. Then we have the girls dresses that they will be wearing on the day(from best and less $25.99 reduced to $13.00 each). I have ordered some shirts for the boys and hopefully they will be in next week they are chambray shirts but more purpley blue than the faded denim that I remember chambray being. I have organised most of the food for the day and Mum has made the cake. M is organising the table and chair hire and port-a-loos for the yard and the SES have said we can use the two tents they have for cover out the back. We have our rings at the jewellers on layby. If anyone else can think of anything else that I have forgotten then please leave me a comment and tell me lol. We are'nt having flowers or balloons as I think they are a waste of money. So I think thats about it???? Till next time...........................................................................................

Panic is starting to set in

Ok we have less than two months to go now till the big day!
You know how when you get married and you have heaps of people the dress, the caterers, the bridal party, the cars, then the guests.
Well seeing as we have both done this before we thought this time round a much smaller affair. M's plan was himself, me and the celebrant and a carton of beer.
My plan was family a few friends nothing to big not too much fuss, you know casual.
Well what we have now is 118 people invited, yes 118, going to the church to get married and then back here for the reception, bridal party, but no fancy cars. I think the tarago would make a damn fine bridal car lol.
Its amazing how much you forget you have to organise and with trying to feed and cloth 6 children while doing this is going to be my biggest test ever.
I dont want to complain in any way as I said to my SIL, its not that I dont plan on spending the rest of my life with this man its just the whole wedding thing that I find a waste of time and money that we dont have.
Any way I have vented now and feel better and now must go get the kids off to school.
Thanks

thoughts on this please

To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing to tell you about an experience I had at the Aquatic Centre tonight which absolutely appalled me.
I have 6 children, three boys and three girls ageing from 11 being the oldest and 3 being the youngest and we go to the aquatic centre every Friday night for swimming lessons and have done for the last three terms.
Well tonight I came out of the change rooms to find out that two mothers had complained to the staff that I had my 8 and 6 year old boys in the females change rooms.
The staff told me that I could use the disabled toilet which is only big enough for a wheelchair to fit in, not 5 young children and one adult to have a shower. As I said to them how do I do that without my three year old attempting to play with the toilet and sanitary disposal unit?
I can not believe that in this day and age where it is not safe to let your children even go to a disabled toilet on their own for fear of them getting attacked that these mothers would complain?
When we go into the change rooms to get changed I get the boys (the 8 & 6 yr olds) changed and straight out to sit with their older brother. The staff suggests that I tag team them in the disabled toilets and do one at a time so then I have to leave my 11 yr old son to watch 4 children around a pool while I do one at a time? What happens when a disabled person needs to use the toilet do I then get into trouble for being in the disabled toilet?
The staff tell me that the change room legislation is that a 6 year old boy should not be in a ladies change room??? I don’t understand how that can be though.
I tried to look up the legislation on the internet but couldn’t find anything out through google.
I am hoping that maybe you could shed some light on the legislation for me though.
Needless to say though the aquatic centre has now lost my business and I had 5 children attending swimming lessons.
Sincerely
Pissed Off

Apparently its ODD

Well we went to see the paediatrician on Tuesday and he doesn't deal in behavioural problems but from what I told him he seems to think he has Oppositional Defiance Disorder, hmmm now after getting a bit more information on this from my good friend "Google" I find out that this could be almost any child!!!!

But he also said to me that I am partly to blame for this behaviour (see its always the mothers fault) because I let him push my buttons and although he is only 8 he knows exactly which ones to push the most to make me react. So the doctor tells me that when this happens next time I have to think there is a pause button in my head and hit pause.

So far we have been incident free its is quite amazing that he has actually been behaving himself and I feel like I am on valium as I am trying to take a much more relaxed view on things. I know its only early days but now we have to go see a psychologist, and to get into one of them is a three month waiting period because of the lack of them in the area, its that or go to Sydney and I am not up for a 3 hour drive.

I feel terrible that I could be responsible for this and I am hoping that by changing my ways hopefully I can make him be the good boy that I know he can be, see that's what I told the doctor he has a great heart and lovely nature when he wants to and alot of people tell me that. The thing that he has trouble with is when someone else is getting more attention he does something naughty to make them notice him and the thing is I know that children do that also especially when in a larger family.

The main thing is we are starting afresh and its not something that he is not going to be able to change I was worried he may need medication for his behaviour but he doesn't so its just a daily thing and we'll manage.

Parents rooms

Now being a mum I always go and check out parents rooms especially to see if they have a toilet that the little ones can use, I don't like taking them into the other toilets as they are cramped and not really big enough for a couple of people in them lol.

A couple of weeks back I went shopping with Nana http://nana-favorite.blogspot.com/ (for anyone that would like to check her blog out) and we went to the new parents room at our local shops and I was amazed with it flabbergasted even, it was huge, it had beautiful couches in three separate rooms for the breastfeeding mothers ( why weren't they around when I needed them???) then the change table area which was massive and very child friendly, a huge playpen area that actually had things attached to the walls to play with in two of the rooms and it had the toilet like at the plaza where a lot of my friends in Vic shop.

But the one thing that was different was this thing on the wall it is called "I'll hold the baby" and its amazing and K loves going in it as you can see. I could go to the toilet without having to worry about her touching the soap dispenser 15 times because the first 14 she couldn't tell if the soap was coming out fast enough, or turning the tap on and off just to see if she can possibly make herself get any wetter?, or the worst in my mind touching the sanitary napkin dispenser to see what is in there?
I loved it and had to go tell the center manager that it was about time something like this was made available to us mums. Then the center manager came out and its a woman now that explained it all to me she must be a mum herself and I congratulated her on a terrific parents room and she said thanks but its not finished. They still have to put in the plasma screen on the wall with the Disney channel running all day!!!!!
Now after I closed my mouth from the shock I though to my self hmmmm how long could I leave K in the thing on the wall and the others in there watching the Disney channel while I did the shopping????????? Nah just kidding but isn't that amazing I just hope that the vandals in this world don't ruin it for our children, and its ironic too that I wont need to go in there as much as I would like to but I took M in there yesterday and showed him and told him to bring the girls to the toilet in there rather than in the men's toilet and he said for sure now.....

Television Addiction

Now I don't know how many of you watch "Greys Anatomy"?
But I do religiously, and last night they had an encore performance of the last show from last season , but it was on at 9:50pm so I stayed up to watch it and still cried through it like I did last year lol.
I love that show the actors the stories will she or wont she end up with McDreamy??? Or will she go to McSteamy? I love Georges quirky ways and Yangs determination. Im so glad its finally back and now on Sunday nights. It was lovely over the holidays but now I realise I am addicted to night time television that I know what day it is by whats on tele lol.
I must say though I do a lot of cross stitching when I sit and watch tele so hopefully now I can get back into the swing of things and get some more cross stitching done........

Blood Diamonds

I went to the movies yesterday with a couple of girlfriends to see the movie "Blood Diamonds". I had seen it on Oprah the day before and thought this would be a good movie to see as they raved about how good it is.

I have never been effected by a movie like this one effected me. I will never buy a diamond again.

You know you see on the news little snippets on what goes on overseas, but this was so in your face and terrifying I don't want to give away about the movie in case anyone wants to go see it, but the story was fantastic and so touching about what this man went through for his family. This picture is from the movie and let me tell you we were all crying.
If you can please take the time to go see it, it is violent but well worth it for the story about the blood diamonds and how they sell the conflict diamonds.
Makes you appreciate what you have..........

Another one at school

Well our second youngest has started school and loves it. She started last Wednesday but I didn't have the pics to put onto my blog till now thanks to Nana sending her disc to me today.

I must tell you though I was not too keen on how well K would handle not having her sister to play with, but things have gone well.

J did really well her first day not a tear to be seen and was keen to get into her new classroom, she walked in and was told to look for her name to hang her bag up and did so and then the teacher said to say goodbye to mum and it wasn't till she hugged me that I thought to myself I must get out of her now or I am going to cry lol, she looked so grown up and confident that I didn't have to worry at all.

So K and myself headed off to the shops mind you we get 5 minutes up the road and she says to me "Me go home now" I said no we are going shopping and she didn't want to go ??? But we kept going and then she was fine and amazingly well behaved. Normally when we go shopping I have to chase her everywhere and she hides in the clothing racks and hides where ever she can which just frustrates me. But this time was so nice and I'm hoping that the next time is going to be just as easy? We'll see we are going shopping this Thursday. Only two years too go now till K is at school and she is already counting them down constantly telling me that she only has "Two Ears till big school mummy"
