Time flys when your having fun

Well my friends I am sorry I have been absent from the world of blog but I have had 2 birthdays to organise, the school holidays to contend with, been away camping and then had the flu and out of it for 5 days.
OK where to begin..... lets see..... J turned 5 and we had a fairy party and had flutterby the fairy and she was fantastic value , it rained all day and she kept the kids all entertained for 2 hours. Well worth it and the kids all had a great time so it was a great day. Then P turned 8 and he was lucky enough to have nana and grandad here for that which was fantastic. We hope we havent scared nana and grandad from coming back though lol. Then we went camping to Bretti

which is about an hour and a half away from home here along a river and it was beautiful and we had a great time we only went for two nights but the time really dragged out which was great. Then when we got home M and I both came down with some virus stomach infection thing which knocked us both about and I actually spent all wednesday on the couch sleeping and Nan had to come and look after the kids for me ( for those of you that know me I dont normally get that sick). It is the last day of the holidays and I am still in my jammies at 1:22pm and not worrying about it at all.. I have more washing to do and it can wait too I need to finish blogging. We went to Port Maquarie yesterday but I will save that to add some photos too after.

I will be back soon but for now must fold some clothes and get K to have a rest otherwise she is really grumpy later in the day. Bye for now

Second Car

Here is our new second car ( well second hand new. )
Its a Mitsubishi Pajero and its a seven seater so that way we can still fit all the kids into it and its lovely to drive.
Picked it up on tuesday and I cant wait till the tarago has to get serviced so I can drive it lol.
It has power windows and a sunroof and cruise control.

Time flys

Isnt it amazing how time flys?
My little man turned six yesterday and I love birthdays but what I dont love is when they all fight because they all want to play with the toys at once even though there is about nine new toys so technically there should have been one toy each no they all wanted the one toy. I can laugh about it now but I tell you its a test. To see how much we can cope with before we snap lol. We did end up having a good day though and we went to the park after school and had a picnic with some friends from school so we all had a good day and then had icecream cake after dinner for his birthday so that pleased all the kiddies lol. Some other news I found another snake here yesterday next to the bathroom window the dogs were going nuts at it and by the time I went next door to let them know because it was on the fence line when I came back it was up under the rafters near the front of the house. I watched it for an hour then I lost it but the snake man came round at about 4:30 and checked all around the house in the gardens for me and couldnt find it so he reckons it would have moved on it was only a diamond python but it was still a snake of about 2.5 metres in length so still scary lol. The picture is one I took of the snakeman when he came here 4 weeks ago and collected one that P rode over on his bike by accident but the one yesterday was identical to it. Things to look forward to when the warmer weather comes I suppose......

Timber town

Yes we went to Timber town on Sunday which is in Wauchope (just over an hours drive away) we actually went to pick up our new table but took a picnic and went to timber town also much like Soverign Hill but only a gold donation to get in and then you look around at the history the kids loved it as did we.
Although in saying that I tried to use a stock whip there and really hurt myself (stop laughing)I bruised my arm from where the whip hit me lol.
We also saw a horse that had a moustache which amazed the kids lol so I had to take a photo of it to show everyone lol.

The Virus

Yes we also were hit with the virus that is going around and thank god we all didn't get it together unfortunately though someone had it 2-3 days after someone else though so just when I thought I had the washing all done and trying to get the linen dry someone else decided that it was their turn.
I tell you what though I have got a Saint of a fiance` because when it hit me and I crashed at 4:30 in the afternoon he did it all and by that I mean he fed all the kids and then bathed them and put them all to bed and also tended to me if I needed anything.(God Bless him)
But thankfully we are all over it now and back to eating normally again lol.
I went to Port Macquarie today to go to Target and found it to be an absolutely gorgeous place and full of Australian history about the convicts, we are going there on Sunday to pick up our new dining table and chairs and I plan on making a day of history for the kids lol. Im sure they will love it but bad luck if they don't I am interested in it lol.
Mind you it is 93kms away so it will be a day out and picnic lunch and thank god for the dvd player in the car to keep them amused and not niggle at each other lol.
Other than that not much happening here in sunny Nabiac ...........

Sadness

Sadness has filled rosey's madhouse as my little baby Snoodle was accidently run over on thursday afternoon. I have never lost a pet before other than to old age and I am not coping too well. Pooor M though he was the one that ran over her and he feels terrible. It couldnt be helped though as she always ran out to the car to greet us when we came home. Mum said be thankful it wasnt a child but children dont normally run out to the car when you get home ( well mine dont).
I know this is a sad blog but I thought that by putting down it might help me deal with it better.
The kids are fine with it I think as we buried her in the front yard and planted a mandarine tree for her and they water the tree.
We will miss her dearly.

Friends

I have just had a fantastic week with one of my best friends Girlfriend and now she has gone home but it was fantastic to see her and spend time with her and M together which felt very weird as this is the first time I have been able to spend time with her and my partner together lol. We went on a cruise and saw the dolphins and two pods of whales. I must tell you all though we have finally set a date for our wedding and trying to tell people that it is just going to be a spit in the back yard and nothing too flash, yet Girlfriend kept putting bridal gowns into my watching items on ebay which I kept deleteing lol.
I also had a body shop at home party here last thursday and even though we have only been here for 2 months I managed to get 20 people here with only a weeks notice lol which the body shop lady couldn't believe.
Got to put the kids into bed bye for now

Kids lounge room

Finally the lasy room of the house and its the kids lounge room I tried to take them in sequence so you could all see the way the room goes but when putting them onto the blog they all mix up the first photo is as you enter the room and it has the air hockey table on the left hand side, then the one with the big window which goes out to the balcony (which M is going to enclose and make into two more bedrooms for the kids), then the one with the toys and the table and chairs where they draw, then I have taken them from over near the tv to show you the other side of the room and where the tent is I have now moved it all and put the futon there, then the last photo shows the entry to the room and you can see the staircase on the right hand side and the entrance to the two younger boys room. So now I will be able to publish things about what has been going on and other things (other than the house) now lol. Love to alll

The girls room

Ok this is the girls room and the first two photos are of their ensuite (yes they have an ensuite lol) but all the kids use this (yes Ruth another dunny for the world to see lol). The next pic is their wardrobe and the main reason we chose this to be the girls room three hanging rows in the cupboard. Then the girls beds they are all huge rooms.

Ok the photo with the pc in it is up the top of the stairs and its M and the one that the kids would use when they are a bit older. Then we have the two younger boy's room and then the oldest boys' room.

The stairway to the kidszone

Ok the first photo should be the one of the storage area this is under the staircase and the one of the vacuum is to try show you all how the area goes all under the stairs its a great storage area. The picture of the wall with the photos and the window is as you first start up the stairs, then the nest one iswith the couple of pics to the left hand side of the photo, then the last one is as you reach the top of the stairs and the room in front of you is the girls room, the towel hanging on the right hand side is Darrens room and the other boys room is right next to darrens on the left hand side.To the left hand side at the top of the stairs takes you into the kids lounge room.

Ok here we have the down stairs lounge room and I think it used to be formal dining area but with the carpet on the floor its not going to be that now I usually use the area nere the pc to fold the clothes on the floor lol.Ok the pic with the stairs on the left hand side of the photo is as you come in the front door and the sliding door you see goes outside to a little paved area (we are going to get one of those cast iron outdoor settings for two so in summer time we can sit out there and relax of an evening). The other photo of the lounge area has the front window so you can see that we can see out the front when sitting in the lounge room.The other photo is taken from in front of the tele and the view looking back and those cupboards are great for storing stuff and also where I had my growing ironing pile and after taking this photo had to do it all as I felt terrible that I had so much there lol. The last photo of the pc is on your right hand side as you walk into the front door and the room you can see is the entrance into the main bedroom

the bathroom part two

Here is the shower that is in the bathroom downstairs and as you can see from on e of the photos with the reflection the bath is opposite it and its too the left as you walk into the bathroom. M wants to move the shower head up higher because he has to crouch down when hes in there lol (poor darling) But its great to keep clean no tiles with grout lol

the bathroom part one

I love this room it would have to be my favorite and there is nothing better then having a spabath after a hectic day and looking up and seeing the stars and the moon. The photo of the bath and window is the view as you enter the bathroom, the vanity unit is to your right and there is heaps of storage room as the mirror has a cupboard behind it. The view outside the window is of our back yard and next doors house is over 5 metres to the right so there is no chance of them seeing anyone in the bathroom unless they are out their back yard playing lol. The bathtub is great though as I can actually lay down in it and not have my feet hanging over the top lol.

the laundry

Here we have the laundry and the first photo is of my new washing machine 8 kg its huge and does a great job lol and our new laundry sink as the other one was a twin and the washing mashine didnt fit, the door way next to the laundry sink is to the downstairs toilet which is pictured and the last picture is of the linen closet, the feezer and the dryer and the door which you can just see on the right hand side is the back door to out the back yard.
